Hi, I'm Nethra
My life is proof of the
power of acceptance
I began modeling in 1997, winning the Elite Model Look of the Year, and launching my career in Milan, Italy.
I then returned to India to become one of the leading models of the country.
But in spite of all the successes that came my way, something profound kept limiting my growth. Every time I thought I knew where my life was going, it would take an abrupt turn, leaving me grappling with more questions and fewer answers.
The highs and lows of a profession in front of the camera made anxiety rush in, bringing with it an avalanche of self-doubt and a degradation of my personal life and wellbeing. I felt paralyzed… I had lost all confidence in myself and became a shell of whom I was meant to be.
That day I surrendered myself to acceptance, and it was the first and most important step in finding myself again, being proud of who I am and confident in what I can achieve.
With radical acceptance, I was finally free…
And I haven’t looked back since!
